DO NOT charge in an overheated state!

⚠️ Do not put it on the charger immediately after use!

Electric scooters and bicycles use air-cooled battery systems. These cannot maintain the battery cells at a constant temperature, unlike electric cars with liquid-cooled systems.

What happens after use?

During and after use:

  • The drive heats up
  • The battery also heats up
  • After greater load, the vehicle may even shut down in a hotter state than allowed

Do not put the battery on the charger in an overheated state.

Why is it dangerous?

During charging, the battery heats up further, which:

  • Can damage the cells
  • Can reduce its lifespan
  • In case of excessive heat, can trigger thermal runaway (a dangerous overheating process)

✅ What should you do instead?

After use, wait at least 30–40 minutes before putting the scooter or e-bike on the charger.

This way:

  • You protect the battery
  • You increase its lifespan
  • You reduce the risk of malfunction and fire

And the battery will thank you 🙂
